The development consists of 15 one-bedroom homes and 8 two-bedroom space standard complaint homes designed to meet the need of local key workers and young professionals and has been developed with the Local College, Estate Agency and to reflect the local needs. 

A communal garden has been designed at the heart of the community, around an existing mature tree, which in turn opens out onto the larger adjacent field green open space.

The development proposal represents an exemplar of design and social factors. The scheme strives for exceptional quality in design and performance at all levels with particular attention paid to the energy and environmental aspects of the design.

The Eco-village is modest in scope, but shows much more than simply construction technology. It shows how an affordable future can be built with the lowest possible running costs to an exemplar benchmark standard in high quality.
