Our classic ZED we designed to sit above existing car parks whilst retaining the car parking below. This groundbreaking design has won us multiple awards.
Developed and tested at the BRE, our housing modules is suited to be built over steel frames above car parks with special considerations from fire, quality, noise, air quality, utilities.
Our design approach include the use of false chimneys and traditional treatments to merge our schemes with the local vernacular whilst still being contemporary. We have full flexibility on our façade treatments including brick-slip, weather boarding, render and offer a range of roof finishes such as tile, standing seam, and green roof options for utility buildings such as bin stores, garages, cycle stores etc.
We are currently progressing with the construction of two projects located in flood zone 3A area. We have effectively obtained Planning and Environmental Agency approvals and are executing the projects utilising our adaptable podium-based construction system, incorporating essential safety features and measures for flood risk mitigation. Elevating the finished floor level by a minimum of 3 meters ensures that the dwellings remain secure, even in the face of a 1 in 100 year flooding event.

We have pioneered a Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) technique, providing extensive flexibility and bespoke touches to the design elements such as window placements, ridge heights, external finishes, landscape finishes, colours and textures.
This approach not only allows for a high degree of adaptability but also enables us to vary densities and types of accommodations, ensuring the delivery of homes that align with the specific accommodation mix desired by our clients.
We are designing at densities of up to 100 homes per hectare and on average around 40 homes per hectare.
By adding a floor of single storey apartments below our classic ZED PODS design we can increase the density on-site and provide more fully accessible dwellings.
